Our Areas of Focus
Choice Foundation strengthens public education in our region through:
 

Funding initiatives:
• Support growth of the whole child, with a focus on social and psychological support;
• Be a community partner with schools, supporting their families and staff as well as efforts that foster a sense of belonging for
everyone in our school communities.
 

Being a governance partner:
• Collaborating with charter school associations and supporting organizations, to serve as a resource in strengthening governance
practices of charter school boards.

 

Our Funding

• One big idea for creative programming that falls into supporting the whole child or being a community partner
• Area-specific grants

• New Orleans-area charter schools
• Third-party institutions
